Resident Discretionary Account Policy
Residents entering as PGY-1 will receive an annual amount of discretionary funding for each year of their residency, totaling $5,500 for the four-year period. First year funds will be earmarked for specific purposes, including purchases of PDA, books and certifications.
The funding for years 2-4 will be paid to the resident as a lump sum on the first paycheck of the year.  These funds can be used at the discretion of the residents. Suggested uses include travel/registration, dues/memberships, and book/subscriptions.
