Julie McWhorter, M.D., Anesthesiology Resident, has been selected as the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center's resident of the month for January 2008. Julie was nominated by a number of individuals at UK, who cited (amongst other things) the following: "Julie is an extremely hardworking, conscientious, well organized resident with outstanding clinical skills and medical knowledge.

She is also a very good teacher to the medical students." "She is a role model in taking care of patients and families especially pediatric patients. She did a great job in organizing the hospital wide airway workshop which will benefit future patients."
